Our Keynote Speaker will be retired U.S. Ambassador Tom Armbruster at our Autumn Conference November 15-17.


 

International Consultant. Previously Team Leader for the Office of the Inspector General at the U.S. State Department with inspections of Nepal, Bangladesh, Colombia. Chad, Mauritania, Denmark, and the South and Central Asia bureau. Previous diplomatic assignments include Ambassador to the Marshall Islands 2012-2016 and Front Office positions in Russia, Mexico and Tajikistan as Consul General and Deputy Chief of Mission. Control officer for Presidential visits to Finland, Russia and Mexico. Lead negotiator for U.S.Russian emergency response treaty. Temporary duty to Kabul and Konduz, Afghanistan leading business and counter narcotics delegations. Extensive public diplomacy, development and disaster relief experience in Europe, Asia, and the Pacific. Highest possible scores in worldwide survey of Chiefs of Mission for conveying a sense of mission, team building, and morale. Speaker at Cornell, University of Texas, Mock World Health Org., Fort Bragg, and St. Mary’s University.


 


Ambassador Armbruster will close out our Autumn Conference this fall, November 15-17 during his keynote closing our November 16th activities at the Dulles Airport Marriott Conference Center & Hotel. We are excited to partner with a Senior Foreign Service International Affairs professional and look forward to learning from his experience and mentorship.
